Anxiety
Anxiety affects 40 million adults in the US and 25% of o children 13-18. This number has tripled since the Covid-19 pandemic. Fear is one on human’s most primal defense mechanisms (“fight or Flight”) intended to warn us of impending danger. In people who suffer from anxiety, this fear is excessive, uncontrollable and disproportionate to the actual risk.
